To get started on Fiverr, you’ll need to create a seller profile. Remember that your seller profile is visible to the community. Therefore, you’ll want to appear professional and knowledgeable about your chosen industry.

Once you have your seller profile set up, create your first Gig. A Gig is essentially an advertisement for a service that you want to sell. For example, I had a Gig for blog writing and another Gig for editing services. When creating your Gigs, consider adding photos and videos for a personal touch.

Fiverr sellers can also choose to offer packages. There are three different service bundles to choose from on the Gig page. Packages allow you to give your buyers more options which results in higher profits for you. Sellers can also maximize their revenue by using Gig extras before, during, and after orders are made.

Fiverr has come a long way from where it first began. Now sellers can send custom offers to allow clients to purchase customized services that meet their unique needs and requirements.

The platform also offers a Fiverr Workspace app where sellers can easily send proposals and invoices, and better manage their time and tasks. The Workspace app is free to download and can help Fiverr sellers stay better organized when building their businesses.

How Can I Keep Clients Happy?

One of the biggest obstacles that Fiverr sellers encounter is dissatisfied clients. On Fiverr, much of your income comes from repeat customers. Ensuring that you are delivering the best work possible can help ensure clients return to your Gig again and again.

Some tips to keep your customers satisfied and boost your profits include:

• Reply quickly to messages. Customers want to know that the seller they’re paying for services is devoted to their craft. This means replying to any questions or concerns that a customer may have in a speedy manner. Aim to reply to messages in less than 24 hours if possible.
• Make use of quick responses. One way to reply to customers faster is by making use of the Quick Responses tool. Simply open the conversation with the buyer and click on the lightning bolt icon to choose a pre-written response or create your own.
• Keep customers updated. From the moment that you receive an order from a client, you want to keep them updated. Start by confirming that you have received the order and are getting started on it ASAP. Depending on the length of the service, you’ll want to send the client periodic updates.
• Deliver quality work. No one wants to pay for work that is done haphazardly. Ensure that the work you are delivering is of a high standard before submission. Once submitted, ask the client if they are satisfied with the work received, and if so, to leave a review that reflects their satisfaction.

Customers expect their projects to be delivered by this deadline. If you’re not able to deliver on time for any reason, contact the client for an extension right away.
